From Runway to Remarkable: A Special TAPPA Photography Program -July General Membership Meeting
From Runway to Remarkable: A Special TAPPA Photography Program – July 14th, General Membership Meeting with Brian Singleton
A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Airport Photography

TAPPA’s next General Membership Meeting will feature a special presentation from a Tampa International Airport employee and photographer who will be sharing a behind-the-scenes look at his aviation and airport imagery.
During this program, he will showcase a selection of his photographs and walk members through how he approaches each image — from choosing the right subject matter to planning for lighting, composition, timing, and location. Attendees will gain insight into how he prepares for a shoot, what he looks for before pressing the shutter, and how he captures compelling images in a fast-moving aviation environment.
This program will be especially valuable for photographers interested in aviation, architectural photography, environmental storytelling, event-style coverage, and working in locations where timing and preparation are critical. Whether you photograph planes, people, buildings, events, or anything in between, this presentation will offer practical takeaways on seeing better images before they happen and building stronger photographs through planning and intent.
Join us for an educational evening of photography, creativity, and real-world insight from someone with unique access to one of Tampa Bay’s most recognizable locations.
TAPPA General Membership Meetings are held monthly and provide members with an opportunity to learn, connect, and stay involved with the local professional photography community.
Meetings typically begin with member arrival, check-in, pizza dinner, and casual networking, followed by brief TAPPA announcements and organization updates. The main portion of the evening features our guest speaker or educational program, with time for questions, discussion, and member interaction.
Our GMMs are designed to be both educational and social, giving members a chance to improve their craft, exchange ideas, and build stronger relationships with fellow photographers and creative professionals.
