Rick’s on the River has the kind of relaxed\, unmistakably local atmosphere that makes it a perfect place to gather outside of our regular meeting format. \n \nThe Hillsborough River has carried generations of Tampa stories through its winding path — from early settlements and cigar-era commerce to fishing boats\, riverfront landmarks\, downtown growth\, and countless evenings spent watching the water move under the fading light. Like many old waterways\, the river has its share of folklore: tales of mysterious currents\, dockside legends\, old Tampa characters\, hidden histories\, and stories passed from one generation to the next over a drink\, a meal\, or a long night by the water. \nOn this Friday the 13th evening\, we will gather where the river bends\, the boats pass by\, and the lights reflect across the water. It is the perfect setting for a TAPPA social with just the right mix of Tampa character\, waterfront charm\, and maybe even a little river mystery. \nMembers are invited to come relax\, connect\, and enjoy good conversation with fellow photographers\, videographers\, and creative professionals.
